Here Lord DevNarayan is the main lord of Gurjars and is one of the magnificent temples of Rajasthan. The Chauth of Barwara temple is the shaktipeeth.Its located on 1100 ft built by Maharaja Bheem Singh Chauhan on the hill of Barwara. Now its a part of Ranthambor national park which is just 30 mins away. Near to Barwara there were 2 places like Chauru, Pachala which are villages now. It was a dense region where tribals used to live. Chauth Mata was first found in Chauru's forest.
